First Hampton by Hilton in Barcelona opens its doors.
Panoram Hotel Management and Dutch group Borealis Hotel Group announced the opening of Hampton by Hilton Barcelona Fira Gran Vía. Located in Southwest Barcelona in one of the country’s highest business activity areas L’Hospitalet de Llobregat, the new hotel will be a new reference in hospitality and networking for Barcelona by introducing one of the world’s most solid and well-known hotel brands in the city.
This is the brand’s second hotel in Spain after the 2020 opening of Hampton by Hilton Alcobendas Madrid, also managed by Panoram Hotel Management. It represents the creation of nearly 40 new jobs, in a firm commitment by the sector to continue to invest and support the recovery.
With this second establishment, Hilton’s world-leading upper-midscale segment brand, known for its commitment to providing guests with high-quality, thoughtfully designed accommodations and amenities, such as modern and spacious rooms, complimentary Wi-Fi and free breakfast, reinforces its continued development in one of Barcelona’s key business activity districts. Borealis Hotel Group, a leading European hotel group from the Netherlands is the property’s leaseholder and appointed Panoram Hotel Management to manage its new 241-room hotel located next to the entrance to the Fira de Barcelona trade fair. Hampton by Hilton Barcelona Fira Gran Vía will become the first property for Borealis Hotel Group in Spain following their earlier expansion into Belgium and France. For Panoram Hotel Management, this new opening means adding to its portfolio its second managed hotel under the Hampton by Hilton brand and its fourth hotel under a Hilton group brand after the aforementioned Hampton by Hilton Alcobendas, DoubleTree by Hilton Madrid Prado and Atocha Hotel Madrid, Tapestry Collection by Hilton, consolidating its position as a reference manager for international brands in cities such as Madrid and Barcelona.
