Quiete Taormina Naxos, Tapestry Collection by Hilton is scheduled to open in June 2026 following a comprehensive renovation and will feature 103 rooms, a spa, three swimming pools, meeting facilities, extensive gardens, and a Beach Club overlooking the Bay of Capo Taormina.
•With this addition, Panoram strengthens its international expansion in Italy, where it already operates one property and has one more in development.

Madrid, March 30, 2026. Panoram Hotel Management, a leading hotel management company in Spain and Southern Europe, announces the signing of a new hotel under the Tapestry Collection by Hilton brand in the municipality of Giardini Naxos, overlooking the bay of Capo Taormina. The opening, scheduled for June 2026 and developed in collaboration with the property owner, Immobiliare I Portali SpA, represents another milestone in the company’s international expansion strategy in Italy. It also builds on Hilton’s expanding Italian portfolio of more than 130 hotels trading and pipeline.

The project is the result of a complete renovation and rebranding of the former Diamond Resort, with the aim of transforming it into a hotel that combines elevated design inspired by the locale, offering guests an authentic Mediterranean experience during their stay. The hotel is currently going through a major renovation and upon opening later this year, Quiete Taormina Naxos, Tapestry Collection by Hilton will have 103 rooms, two restaurants, three outdoor swimming pools, a spa with an indoor pool, extensive landscaped gardens, an event hall with capacity for up to 500 people, and a beachfront restaurant and Beach Club, providing a vibrant experience for all guests.

The hotel is located on Via dei Sei Mulini, Contrada Via Sirina, 98035 (ME), in a prime location close to the beach and with direct connections to Taormina and the area’s main cultural and natural attractions. Its privileged position on the Sicilian coast makes it an ideal destination for exploring the Mediterranean’s most iconic destinations.

This new signing reinforces Panoram’s roadmap in Italy, where the company already operates one establishment and is developing another project, both positioned in high-demand segments.

The development of this new Tapestry Collection in Taormina represents a decisive step in our international expansion strategy and strengthens our presence in an extraordinarily attractive destination. After consolidating our leadership in Spain, Italy has become a priority market for Panoram, where we are already present with high-quality projects. This new hotel reflects our ability to transform and reposition assets, creating value propositions aligned with the expectations of the most demanding markets.” said Guillermo Pérez Palacios, CEO of Panoram Hotel Management.

Alan Mantin, vice president, development, Southern Europe, Hilton, said, “We’re thrilled to be working alongside Panoram to accelerate the growth of Tapestry Collection by Hilton in Italy at a time when demand for lifestyle hotels continues to grow. Hilton already has a strong lifestyle footprint in the country, with 14 lifestyle hotels currently trading and a further eight in the pipeline, underscoring the scale of opportunity in this market. As travellers increasingly seek authentic, lifestyle-led stays that reflect the character of their destination, Italy’s unrivalled sense of place, culture and design makes it an ideal environment for the Tapestry Collection by Hilton brand’s vibrant, stylish design and personality.”

With this opening, scheduled for 2026, Panoram Hotel Management continues to advance its positioning as a multi-brand operator in Spain and Italy, strengthening its relationship with Hilton and expanding its presence in strategic Mediterranean destinations. In line with its medium-term objective, the company expects Italy to reach a weight comparable to that of the Spanish market, thus driving its growth in southern Europe through a multi-brand model and a strategy focused on assets with high repositioning potential.
